Who We Are
A Family, Not an Institution
COTN Connected is one of five apostolic clusters (i.e. networks of churches) within Church of the Nations. It was founded in 2017 when the Makarios cluster led by Tony and Marilyn Fitzgerald and the Issachar cluster led by Keith and Shelley du Plessis merged, to form one new cluster of kingdom churches, ministries and influencers, co-led by Tony, Marilyn, Keith and Shelley.
One Heart. Many Expressions.
While recognising that there is a lot of misinterpretation and even abuse of the terms “spiritual fathers, mothers and sons and daughters”, we believe we are called not to build an institution, but a kingdom family that reflects the heart of God as Father, and is expressed in the context of authentic relationships holding us together, rather than an organisational structure. The name COTN Connected therefore, best sums up the goal of doing life together within the cluster. It recognises our rich diversity of culture, geography, personalities, and ministry expressions, but also celebrates the innate unity that God has orchestrated amongst us, as we desire to see God’s kingdom come on earth.
A Global Movement
Our cluster is a global network of kingdom churches, ministries and influencers, serving local churches, broadcast and electronic media, drug and alcohol rehabilitation ministry, the financial sector, theological training, education, city-wide transformation projects, poverty upliftment, feeding programmes, agriculture, skills training and employment creation initiatives. Geographically, COTN Connected is located in Australia, India, Southern Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Guided by Servant Leaders
As of December 2025, Keith and Shelley assumed leadership of COTN Connected. Together with their leadership team of Mike and Justine Davies and Paul and Milaine Dennison, they represent COTN Connected in the Apostolic Team of Church of the Nations International, while Tony and Marilyn will continue to serve in the cluster as apostolic advisors.
